We went to the Lights show at the Speedway (on their free night - yay!) and the girls LOVED it. At the end there was Santa waiting!! Ellie would NOT sit with him, or even look at him. Reagan never said "Santa" the whole month, but calls him "ho-ho" instead. She had no problem at all sitting on his lap.

It's a family tradition to decorate ginger bread houses. Last year the girls only ate a few of the candies off the house and definitely none of the gingerbread, so this year I cheated a bit. I bought a house kit on clearance from last year and we used that. Everything worked out fine since the girls mostly just wanted to assemble it. (I say that, but this photo has Reagan with a mouthful of candy)

 Reagan did end up eating a lot of the candy, but it still tasted good! So I did the same thing again for next year :)

 I kept Ellie busy with lots of Christmas projects. This was an M&M wreath I found on Pinterest.

 Mike decided to make the girls some doll furniture using some free patterns he found on Ana White. They turned out super cute. He made a toy chest, doll bed, and doll high chair. He spent many hours in the garage and managed to get saw dust in every single crevice and nook and cranny in every object in the garage. It was not fun to clean it up. And it all got tracked in the house for several weeks during this time. Glad that part is over! My job was to paint and put some vinyl decor on it. Unfortunately his part wasn't finished until Christmas Eve night, so the girls got their gifts unpainted. They don't mind :)

Reagan's birthday on Christmas Eve.  Reagan absolutely loves to sing happy birthday and blow out candles. So we let her do it at each meal on her special day. Actually about 15 times during breakfast. So cute. My Christmas Eve baby. Can't believe she's 2!

 We went to Sam's Town gardens for their water show. We had gone earlier in the week at night and they had the best laser light show with Christmas songs and SNOW (actually very small bubbles - but it looked real!)! We all loved it. During the day it was their normal show since the laser lights wouldn't work in the daytime, but Reagan still talked about it non-stop.

 We went with Shannah and her girls.

 G&G Kanet gave Reagan a Woody doll for her birthday. He talks a lot and she quickly memorized all of his sayings. It's super cute to hear her version of them.

 Mike gave me my present on Christmas Eve so I could play around with it and use it on Christmas morning. It's a Cannon Rebel. I'm pretty sure he bought it because of the name. He's a true UNLV rebels fan. I've really been enjoying it and pretend I'm a professional.

Ridge also got his gift on Christmas Eve. 2 baby rats. Look at that enormous smile. He was super happy. A Christmas wish come true for a little boy.

The girls love to watch and hold them when they visit grandma's house.

 This photo is super funny to us. Shannah (Mike's older sister) decided to put the rat up Reagan's sleeve. She didn't like it. But Shannah did. It's funny because there are MANY photos from Mike's childhood has Shannah laughing and Mike crying. Some things never change.

The girls in their Christmas pajamas with cookies, milk, and carrots set out for Santa and his reindeer. Ellie never got in bed so quickly and easily! She was ready for Santa to come! She didn't go to sleep for a while - we heard her in her bed singing Christmas songs 30 minutes later. She still talks about how she's trying to be a good girl so Santa will come again this year :)
